Application of this product is easy.  Let's take trees first.  Measure the trunk circumference of the tree at about 4'-5' up from the base or ground level.  The number of inches around the trunk is the amount of ounces to apply.  Circumferences greater than 50" require diluting the necessary ounces of solution into two gallons of water.  Under 50" require only one gallon.  If your tree has multiple trunks measure the circumference of each.  The sum total is your ounce total.  These are simple enough calculations and will prove easy and quick.

Applying the mixture is done in a circle all the way around your tree.  For trunks under 30" apply the mixture at a radius of two feet from the trunk.  Trunks greater than 30" should be applied at a radius of 3-4 feet.  Keep in mind that the bigger a tree is the more the roots spread out underground and grow deep.  This is the reason behind the larger radius.  Treating all the way around the tree feeds the whole root system.

The shrubs are different in calculation.  Measure the height of the shrub to the nearest foot.  Multiplying that number by 3 will give you the required ounces per one gallon of water.  Again, apply in a circular pattern around your shrub.  If your shrub is under three feet tall apply at a radius of 1' from the base.  Greater than three feet should be applied at a 2' radius.  Again, simple enough calculations.
